How to plan a manual warehouse: place areas, edit properties, draw logistics paths, and save, export, or import layouts.
Creating areas
- Pick an area tool on the left (picking rack, pallet bulk storage, pallet pick location).
- Click on the grid - the area is inserted at that spot.
- Click and drag an area to move it; the square in the bottom right resizes it.
- Press Delete to remove, Ctrl+D to copy, and use the right panel to rotate by 90 degrees.
Logistics paths
- Choose the “Draw connection” tool, then click the start and target area.
- Double-click a line to insert a waypoint that you can drag freely.
- On the right you can set type (aisle, forklift route, picking route), direction, and width.
- The length is calculated automatically from the grid.
Grid and view
- The mouse wheel zooms; dragging on empty space pans the view.
- One grid cell is 1 m by default; the value can be changed on the right when nothing is selected.
Saving
- The layout is saved in your browser automatically and reloaded next time you open it.
- “Export” saves a file, “Import” reads it back in - ideal for sharing.
- Ctrl+Z undoes steps, Ctrl+Y redoes them.
